I feel bad sometimes;

that I'm no longer keeping close contacts with my sec sch mates,
that I'm so lazy to even organize gatherings,
that I stopped being concerned about their life.

Don't worry, I'm not feeling all emo now. Just missing the secondary school days; chionging Maple Story, going for band practices every tuesdays and fridays, creating havoc in class, shouting for Maaaaaaaaaaadam Yeooooooooooooo! and many more. How I wish everything hadn't changed. We're just not making enough effort to keep this friendship going. We're just too busy with our own life. I WANT BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS! I still love you guys hahahaha! :)

On another note, the speed H1N1 virus is spreading is sooooooo scary! New cases every day in Singapore, while Australia has over 500 cases in a day! Honestly, they should just close down the airport. Of coz that would be after sending back all the foreigners back to their respective hometown. I know I know, that will greatly affect the country's economy, moreover during this downturn. But would you rather suffer for a while or risk the lives of your people? Okay la, I'm hum. I don't wanna die yet okay!

Air France jet's disappearance, H1N1. So many tragedies happening now. Is the world coming to an end? If yes, let's flee to the Bermuda Triangle. I heard it's a paradise down there.

Just kidding la! HAHAHAHA~ But I'm really curious about what's exactly 'down there'. Maybe I'll visit the triangle before I die.

I'm fuming right now I can feel all the blood vessels in my head bursting. I'll definitely get hit by high blood pressure. ARGHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Anyway, do you know that when a person is angry, they will tend to use hurtful words and be extremely mean when they actually don't mean it? How can you think properly when you're boiling, right? It's like you just got possessed by an angry ghost and whatever you do/say is beyond your control. Therefore, whatever that person says should not be taken into account and ought to be thrown away like trash. It's according to a scientific research done by TANWEILIN Human Behaviour Research Centre.

OMG I'M SO EXCITED BECAUSE I EMAILED THE HOTEL WHICH I'M GOING TO STAY IN TAIWAN AND THEY REPLIED! SO COOOOOOOOL! HAHAHAHAHA.

Okay it's regarding the wireless connection. I want to bring my laptop there cos it's freaking 9 days and I'm afraid you all will miss me like mad. So I guess there's a need to allow communication between us regardless of where I'm at haha. And yes! they have free wireless connection, even in our own hotel room!

Hahaha funny right. Initially I just typed in English, but I was afraid they don't understand and never reply so I included Chinese as well. I even typed Chen Xiao Jie which made me sound very old. And after so many years, I kena lost touch with Chinese words so I have to use online translator to translate into traditional chinese (fyi, my chinese very good one okay!). I'm so nice and considerate ^^ Yay! now I know wireless connection is "Wu Xian Shang Wang" and Yours Sincerely is "Jin Shang". Cool shit. I'm like the smartest girl in the world. Who would think of sending the hotel an email regarding wireless (and type in traditional chinese somemore) other than MEEEEEEEEE. wahahahaha! I'm so proud of myself I'm gonna print that email out and frame it :)

I'm back from Hong Kong! :D It was hella fun, esp Disneyland! I will definitely visit there again, coz I regretted not buying their wife's biscuit which many told me not to buy. But they turned out to be yummy! :(

I love the weather too! though wind are a bit too chilly sometimes. Didn't shop much there as their things were pretty costly, somewhat like Singapore. But! the clothes from Bossini are wayyyyyyyyyy nicer in HK! They sell pretty tops for young adults too! It's so unlike S'pore, where most of the apparels have childish and colourful prints which are mainly for kids.

We didn't manage to try all the HK delicacies like dim sum and egg tarts. It was soooo difficult to find them okay! and we thought it will be everywhere along the streets. BUT! we managed to try their Yang Zhi Gan Lu and it was nice & refreshing. And it taste quite the same as those in S'pore, just that HK ones have super big pieces of mangoes which most of us can't finish except Janet, the next glutton (after Regina).

Great. I'm finally done with my new skin! Of cos I didn't create this myself, but I edited a bit here and there.

Holiday has been good so far. Rotting at home almost everyday, since me and my friends are saving up for HK trip so we can't go out and splurge on unnecessary things :( You might think I've no life, but honestly, having a 'life' doesn't mean going out and 'chiong' every single day. It meant spending time doing things that you like. And yes, I love rotting at home, cannot ah?

I'm so glad that HSBC Women's is finally over. It's seriously damn tiring; Waking up at 4.15am for that four days and having to work for 9hrs -___- Moreover, they were really budget this year that they didn't even provide chairs for us. That means, we have to stand throughout the whole day and under the scorching sun, except during breaks. My legs are freaking sore now and muscles are aching! BUT! I will still want to volunteer again next year, maybe not all 4 days that is haha.

And! Patapon 2 english version is out! Skye, if you see this, I'm not gonna lend you Gary's PSP until I've completed mine wahahaha!

YAY! EXAMS ARE OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! :DDDDD

Thanks to Daphne & gang's (the Korean fanatics) influences, I started to fall in love with Kim Jung Hoon all over again. And Shumin, for talking about Goong, which was about 2-3yrs ago when I last watched it. That explains my new blog song as well.

Seriously, he's totally my type of guy hahahaha! He's cute, decent looking, talented, and his smile is extremely charming! Honestly, I'm pretty attracted to guys who are shy, except Xiao Zhu. Anyway, it's the mugging season, yet again. But we'll get over this and soon, we can happily await the HK trip! Yes, that is the only factor motivating me to study hard. Time passes really fast. CNY is over and now we're back to the mundane life of chionging tutorials -__-

Anyway, I received more angbaos this year and had already saved 350bucks for Hong Kong!:D But before I get too excited over the trip, I have to constantly remind myself of the tons of tutorials to be completed and that I need to start revising for exams REAL SOON. Sigh.

Had a yummy dinner over at Gabriel's hse on friday. However the greatest fun was when we were preparing the food. We're all potential housewives/househusbands now, teehee ^^ Not including Skye. wahahaha

Yesterday's performance at SDC was pretty interesting. Got to see many people dressing up as their favourite anime character, though most of them look weird to me =/ And I swear one of them look like Gabriel hahahaha. Even Janet agrees lol. Too bad none dressed up as any character from DeathNote or Ponyo.

Didn't bring any camera that day so I kop-ed a few pictures from Mr Rasull's blog haha

Yay! I skipped school today! Why? Cos I spent the whole of yesterday shopping for my new year clothes -__-

I'm not a bit excited for CNY, except for the angbaos and food maybe. Not because I hated CNY or what okay! It's bcos we only get to enjoy for awhile and then have to get back to studies. What a spoiler! boohoo~ Though I don't have to stress myself so much and mug like crazy since I'm born smart :) teehee.

But on a happier note, we'd be free from FC soon! The day we've been longing for! Hooooooooray! :D And and! The Hong Kong study trip! ^^ Woohoo~ Dim Sum(s) here I come! wahahaha.

Got back most of the papers and I'm quite satisfied with them. Didn't study hard so couldn't expect much haha.

Honestly, some people should just learn to accept the reality happily instead of arguing over trivial matters. Because, it's pissing the people around you off.

Until now I still believe that having IQ, but no EQ, won't bring you far. If you think that life is all about winning, then just go ahead. Woohooo! Finally finished watching "不良笑花"! So many ppl are crazy over Tang Men, but I prefer Jia Si Le :D He's soooooooooo charming!

I kena 'dian' by him a lot of times while watching the drama lor, hehe. He got the japanese manga boy look and there's a few shots in the show which I think he look like Cloud from Final Fantasy. How I wish I have a pair gorgeous eyes like him :(

I'm not doing this for show off, but I must really say: MY 18TH BIRTHDAY WAS TOTALLY AWESOME THANKS TO MY BELOVED FRIENDS AND BF! :D

Okay so saturday afternoon went to watch Madagascar Escape 2 Africa with bf, then had dinner in the cable car! Yes, you guessed it, it's Sky Dining! wahaha. I was worried that I couldn't enjoy the dinner in peace cos I'm afraid of taking the cable car(shan't explain the reason why haha!) but nonetheless, it was a wonderful experience! :D

After dinner we went to collect my birthday cake from Secret Recipe and wandered around Vivo aimlessly waiting for time to pass lol. Finally it was 12am and I was wondering why he's still not sending me home. Thanks to my intelligence, I found out that my dear 03 peeps are at the Mind Cafe waiting for me :)

Even though I knew it beforehand, I'm still very very grateful to everyone who came (Eve, Janet, Rege, Skye, Shumin, Daph, Kiathua, Chuan En, Jinfang, Gabriel). I feel so bad that you guys have to take midnight cabs home and spend so much money! thank you sooooooooooooo much for the present! :DDDD I love you guys manymany!

Special thanks to Eve and Janet for planning all these! Smart move to coordinate with my Mom as well haha ^^

And of cos, Gary Cheong for making my 18th so memorable :)

The next day went to meet up with 4E4 peeps! Thank you TanZhiWen for organising this and those who came (Cerlyn, Kaihui, Aiwen, Yeeting, Tersoon and JJ). And thank you Cerlyn for the Hershey's Kisses!^^

Went to Jack's Place at Marina Sq and the corn was super nice!! I think the steak was okay though, nth special leh haha.

After lunch went to the Teddy Bear Exhibition @ the Arts House. It was a total disappointment cos I thought it's those big-scale exhibits like the one in Goong. But NO! the exhibition was as small as a classroom -_- We left that place in awhile, roamed around and stopped at the Supreme Court as there was a exhibition for Singapore Biennale, which were way cooler than the Teddy Bears haha.

Argh, I don't know why my lappy couldn't read the cam's memory card so I shall delay the Genting photos till my bro figures that out. Blogger didn't allow me to save my post ytd for who-knows-what reason so I had to post first and continue today :)

WHEEEEEEE I DID IT!! I GOT 2 TOOTH EXTRACTED TODAY! xD
But my right wound is still bleeding I hope I won't develop dry socket. Dear blood pls clot!
Now when I think back it's so funny I made such a big fuss over an extraction haha. Worrying about the whole procedure was really worse than the actual event. Thanks for all the enouragement! I love my friends lor, serious. They kept wishing me goodluck like I'm going for some major operation lol. Ya, cos they know I'm a hum birdbird mah but now I'm upgraded to brave birdbird liao!^^ lol.

I love my extraction dentist man! Initially I thought it was a 'she' bcos my appointment card wrote "Dr Audrey" and was quite relieved since women are more gentle. But I walked into the room and saw a male dentist so I kinda stun for a few seconds while he started talking to me. Thank God, he was super duper nice and when he said he'll try to make it as painless as possible for me, he really did it! :D He even allowed me to listen to my phone music throughout the whole procedure (yea, I need that to calm me down which apparently didn't work cos I was trembling all the way, and I couldn't hear what he was saying so I had to adjust the volume to the lowest) I didn't know my tooth came off until I heard him said 'K.O' He was shaking and pulling my tooth like mad so the assistant had to hold my head. Anyway, only the injection was painful la. I didn't even feel a sting at the wound after the numbness wore off wahahaha! But my front teeth feel kinda sore now, I think they are shifting alrdy.

Oh, and btw, I think my extraction dentist look like Hiro Nakamura from Heroes, just that he had gel-ed hair and was at his 50s I guess. He's really an awesome dentist la, kept asking me if I'm alright cos I was about to cry, but I didn't okay! Laoniang very brave one leh hahahahaha!

Yay! Now I feel that my life is soooo completed. No more worries, just filled with happiness! :D

My heart aches everytime I see my Mum so tired after work that she always fell aslp while watching tv and has to wake up at 4.30am everyday. I hate working life, yet, I wanna faster grow up and start earning lots of money to feed my parents, though I'm super super lazy. If only money can fall from the sky -__-
Why are people working so hard to feed themselves when you will die without sleep for 11days but can survive 2weeks without food? Since sleeping is more important, we should sleep more! So lecturers shldn't scold us when we overslept hahahaha! wth.

6 weeks past super quickly; today's the last day of ITP. Kinda sad actually, will definitely miss the people there! But on a happier note, they said they will call us back if there's any part-time job available. Yay!^^
Yup, so 3days before today me, Ama and Eugene were trying very hard to get presents, make cards and bake cookies for them! We're sooooo nice cos we spent quite a lot on the presents haha! plus the cookies and cards it really feels like we're giving out Xmas gifts or smth lol. But I'm glad they loved them! We were very thoughtful okay! We chose the presents according to what they need/like so everyone's got different thing.

Last day of work was very fun! Everyone's got nth to do cos it was their 'Exercise Day' and they got free tickets to Snow City! Like OMG, it's been 8yrs since I last stepped into that place and I was freaking excited I couldn't stop singing 'Snow City~ Snow City~' Lol, okay lame. Anyways... it was damn cool inside la! Can see smoke when we breathe, OMGOMG! Okay I know I sua ku k cos I've never been to snowing countries cannot ar. However, it's quite boring inside cos there's only the slide, a snowman and some ice sculptures. Totally not worth the 15bucks! So people, pls don't be stupid and pay so much just to go inside and slide for 1hr. Go home and play with ice, it's free. But still, OMG I'M SO EXCITED I STEPPED INTO SNOWCITY AND IT WAS SO COLD I COULD FEEL MY BRACES CONTRACTING HAHAHAHA!!

Gonna work for Janet's company event on Sat and Sun @ Suntec. It's some Bollywood event la. Luckily Shumin's also working if not I'd be bored to death seeing all the ah nehs. Sorry Eve and Rege that I'm not going for the camp! You know how I'm going to repay that. Shhhh~ lol

I MISS LA KOPI-ING WITH MY BIRDBIRDS! :(

I'm soooo excited for school next week, yet pretty much disturbed by the fact that extraction is on the 2nd week of sch. Doing research really didn't help much, though many have commented that it isn't painful. But the thought of having my non-shaky teeth pulled out of my gum just freak me out la! Argh, I'm definitely going for extraction bcos I don't wanna drag anymore and the only way to overcome my fear is to face it. Now the only thing I'd pray for is that I won't have "dry socket" (click for definition) after the extraction and that I won't shit on my pants during the process ~_~

Yay! I'm going to Genting on the 25 Oct to 27 Oct! :D be nice to me and I'll consider buying smth back for you wahaha!

Yay! Work was ultra fun today bcos time passes very quickly and we were pretty slack and we played monopoly during the last 1hr of work WAHAHAHAHAHA!^^ But I guess it's gonna be like this everyday since it is the off-peak period and everyone's got nth much to do. PLUS, my supervisor's the super crazy and hyper type, so when she have nth to do she'll start bugging us to play games with her haha.

ITP's getting more and more booooring~ But I still love the people here, esp. my supervisor! :D I'm not the only one complaining k, Ama and Eugene also feel the same way. We dread going to work everyday. Argh, time's passing super slowly and I'm hungry alrdy. My stomach growls at this time everyday ever since I started working. Oh, and I slimed down too! Went to weigh myself just now and I'm 49kg!! ytd was 50kg hahahaha! Must be bcos I don't eat as much as last time but I bet I'm going to gain back once school starts. I love Hari Raya! Shit, extractions will be 2nd week of school. I'm so gonna cry inside, unless my dentist's a super cute guy which is not possible bcos I alrdy know it will be a female dentist :( HAHAHAHA! Got back to playing Audition again 2days ago bcos I was freaking bored and surprise! my audi khaki was online as well! I rmb last time we chiong audi tgt everyday one lor but that was 2yrs ago. We stopped playing after he entered NS. But yay! Now he's back to audi and finally there's someone to play with me ^^ Waliew my stomach's still grumbling I have to drown myself with water. Oh ya, I forgot to mention that we celebrated Evelyn's bday on Tuesday at Garuda Padang! Got her Awfully Chocolate cake and I think it's not bad, sweeter and more chocolatey than Lana's but I love both anyway haha. I guess we were too tired from ITP that we forgot to ask the price before ordering and the bill came out to be $316 for 8 to split. The prawns we ordered, 10 of them cost $120 and the 2 plates of that boneless fish cost $50 -_- But the food there were awesome! Though it's kinda heartpain for each of us to pay so much haha. Anyway, hope she love the present and everything. She can't expect much la, look who's the planner man hahahaha!

Yup I'm feeling bored, so here I am blogging in the office again. Results were released ytd and I'm very very satisfied with mine! :D All the birds improved! Yay!!

KSF is finally over too! But I'll miss the basketball machine hahaha! and the kids too, though the pri sch ones are super kiasu! They have to collect 6 stamps to redeem a token and many of them went to take extra booklets so that they can redeem more free gifts! I bet they learnt this from their parents. That's not the worse k! They keep calling us aunty lor and I forced them to call me jiejie before giving them the token wahaha! Some boys really damn horrible, purposely call me aunty all the time and still dare to ask me to give them more free gifts. Smack their asses man! But nonetheless, I had fun 'arguing' with them hahaha! After seeing all these adorable kids for 1 week, I've decided to be a nursery or kindergarden teacher if I cannot make it in the events industry since Ama said I can communicate well with children too lol.

I need an off day!! But have to wait till 1 week later, which means I'll be working continuously for 13days! Sad sia :( Today when I woke up late I was still wondering if it's Saturday because ever since ITP started I've been waking up before sun rise.

- I've got a new name given by the temp staff from KSF, Mandy/Wendy Tan.

I've been helping out at the Kids Science Fest since last Wed. Though it's pretty boring, I'd rather stone there than to sit in the office the whole day and go home with an aching back. Moreover there's basketball machine and WII @ KSF and I get to meet a few cute boyboy and girlgirl once in awhile (those 4yrs old and below one), so it's definitely much much better than staying in the office la.

God Vs. Science

Story:
A science professor begins his school year with a lecture to the students, "Let me explain the problem science has with religion." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

"You're a Christian, aren't you, son?"
"Yes sir," the student says.

"So you believe in God?"
"Absolutely."

"Is God good?"
"Sure! God's good."

"Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?"
"Yes."

"Are you good or evil?"
"The Bible says I'm evil."

The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?"

"Yes sir, I would."

"So you're good...!"
"I wouldn't say that."

"But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't."

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?"

The student remains silent.

"No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

"Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?"
"Er...yes," the student says.

"Is Satan good?"
The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No."

"Then where does Satan come from?"
The student falters. "From God"

"That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?"
"Yes, sir."

"Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?"

"Yes."

"So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil."

Again, the student has no answer. "Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?"

The student squirms on his feet. "Yes."

"So who created them?"

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. "Who created them?" There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?"

The student's voice betrays him and cracks. "Yes, professor, I do."

The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?"

"No sir. I've never seen Him."

"Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?"
"No, sir, I have not."

"Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?"

"No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't."
"Yet you still believe in him?"
"Yes."

"According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?"

"Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith."
"Yes, faith," the professor repeats. "And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith."

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His own. "Professor, is there such thing as heat?"

"Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat."

"And is there such a thing as cold?"
"Yes, son, there's cold too."
"No sir, there isn't."

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. "You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees."

"Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it."

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

"What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?"

"Yes," the professor replies without hesitation. "What is night if it isn't darkness?"

"You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word."

"In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?"

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?"

"Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed."

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. "Flawed? Can you explain how?"

"You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought."

"It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it."

"Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?"

"If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do."

"Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?"

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

"Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?"

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided.

"To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean."

The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out into laughter.

"Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir."

"So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?"

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I guess you'll have to take them on faith."

"Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life," the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?"

Now uncertain, the professor responds, "Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

I realised that no matter how good you think your life is, there are bound to be problems after problems revolving around you. And as you grow older, the problem you faced usually got to do with human behaviours. Like how some people or organisation function in a dishonourable way and doing things with motives, and I mean bad ones.

When we were young, the only major problem we have is probably having small fights with friends because he/she talks to your enemy or sits at the same table with them during recess time. Now that we're more grown up, and perhaps more matured and smarter, you'll start to see the good & evil nature in people. Surprisingly, friends who are like an angel to you in the past will also slowly turn into a badbad devil. It's really scary how some people can change so much, or is it they have always been like that just that we were too naive to realise it? Hmmm. I used to trust ALL my friends, but now I think there are only 4 people(excluding my family) in my life whom I truly think I can rely on(you know who you are). People, if you still have the same mindset as me last time, thinking that ALL your friends are trustworthy and truthful to you, it's about time to open your eyes BIGGER. You'll never know what they're doing behind your back. For minor cases they'd just be pointing a gun at your back, otherwise they'd shoot right through your heart and stab you a few times until you die terribly like this x_x

Yea, I know it's just part and parcels of life. But still, it's hard to accept the fact that the halo on your friend(s)' head has turned into horns so suddenly. And I guess when I go out to work in the society, I'll be more amazed than now haha.

You may wonder why I have become so pessimistic recently. Well, I'm not. I'm just stating the facts about life after you grow up, when people are not as simple as you think they are :) If you feel a sense of guilt while reading this, orh hor! must go face the wall and do some reflection on yourself liao haha. This year's gonna be the worst man. I'm so sick and tired of all these shit! The saddest thing is I brought these upon myself, how stupid.

Life's getting tougher and tougher, everyone's getting more and more competitive. I don't know how I'm going to survive in the society when I can't even take this stress man. I realised that sometimes it's really pointless trying so hard, I'll only make a fool out of myself. I should just learn to adapt to changes and stop being so stubborn. Many times I thought I've grown up a lot, but the fact is, I'm still as simple-minded and immature. Got to do some reflection on myself before I turn 18, which means I have to stand in front of the mirror everyday liao. Hahaha lame -_- But really, I don't wanna be seen as dumb and useless to other people anymore.I want them to look up on me. I will prove to them! :) Sigh, I shall take this as a life lesson before I turn into a young lady. But I doubt I'll be matured by then. Sigh sigh sigh lol. Finally got some time to update! Yr2 life is really really hectic :(
Went to the Garden Fest last week and the flower sculptures, designs etc were extremely beautiful! Moreover, the entrance fee is JUST 3bucks for an experience that satisfy all the 5 senses ^^ It's like everywhere we go you can hear 'wow, Wow, WOW!' Totally awed by the creativity of the designers. To those who didn't attend, the next Garden Fest will be in the yr 2010! Don't forget! :)

Is it the coffee? Or something else? I don't know, but I felt really restless mid-way through "studying". When I reached home, I just sat down in daze as if I'm sleeping with my eyes open. Read an article from Yahoo! News saying that the parents in New Zealand are giving their children RIDICULOUS names like Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii, Fish and Chips, Yeah Detroit, Keenan Got Lucy and Sex Fruit. Wth can? Why do these parents give their kids such weird/funny names? Don't they know how much embarrasment it will cause to their kid? Okay, at least now they do get charged for giving their children bizarre names. But surprisingly, Number 16 Bus Shelter and Violence were allowed -_-

Celebrated Ame, Aiwen and Timo's bday on Thursday. Okay, it was an unplanned event so they weren't as surprised as I expected. But nvm, at least all of us enjoyed ourselves :)

Took part in the Heritage Quest with my classmates ytd night. It was darn tiring but fun! The quest revolves around the 5 museums in Singapore. The whole thing was supposed to end at 12.30am, but was dragged to 2am, which means we ran for 6hrs. Though we didn't get into the top 3 places, at least we finished the race and came in 9th out of, I think, at least 30 teams? Which was really really amazing! Shumin's grp even got 5th position. Wooo~ I'm so proud of us! :D Hopefully I've lost a few kgs after this race haha. Feels good to exercise once in awhile cos this way, I won't feel guilty when I eat sinful meals, wahahaha. And thanks to Ms Rajes' idea, we were pretty outstanding compared to the other teams who didn't dress up at all. All for the sake of media coverage which we didn't manage to get in the end. Where the hell did Mediacorp and Straits Times' reporters go?! hahaha.

Worked for SHAPE Run'2008 this morning. Had to reach Padang at 5.30am and I only slept for 2hrs -_- Oh btw, ytd I had a family dinner at SICC cos it was my cousin's bday and I tell you the prawns there are heavenly! Omg, I'm thinking about the prawns day and night ever since ytd's dinner. It was really, really, really yummy! :D I don't care one day I must go back and order one whole table of prawns for myself man! Wahahaha.

Okay continue about today's work. Initially, I was separated from the rest but Skye, my hero of the day, saved me by swoping group with me. Thanks Bitch! :) However, it was later proven that it wasn't really a good thing anyway lol. As our water station was quite far from Padang, there's this lorry to drive a big group of us to the 3 different stations. At first I was still so excited okay! Keep saying 'Wah, take lorry so fun! Hahahahaha' and started to ki siao like some retarded kid who has never sat on a lorry before. In fact, I did. Many times somemore.

Our station ppl were the first to alight and we were at the inner end of the lorry. So after seeing Chuan En like wanna jump down from the side of the lorry, I also follow suit. Shumin was asking me not to jump but I told her it doesn't look very high. Then Regina screamed 'Weilin! Don't do anything silly!' and the next second all they heard was 'AHHHHH! 'POM!'. Yup, I fell flat on the grass and part of me was in the small drain, with ard 20 ppl witnessing it [including some banglas]. If you try to picture it, it really seem very comical right? But that's really what happened to me :( Sigh, I finally understood the meaning of 'Kiang tio ho mai geh kiang', which basically means don't act smart la -_- It was the most embarrassing moment of my life and I seriously feel like banging my head on the tree until I die. Or get some tree branches to disfigure my pretty face so that nobody will ever recognise me. WHY WHY WHY?! Lao tian ye, what have I done to suffer this kinda embarrassment? And I don't understand why do I keep laughing after I fell down, even one of the guy who tried to help me up was like saying 'fall down alrdy still can laugh, chek arc'. I don't know what 'chek arc' means, so don't ask me.

Sigh, I've never fell so badly before, moreover in front of soooo many people! I should just pretend to faint on the spot. At least this way I won't have to face all the embarrassment. Even the banglas also laughed at me :'( Argh. Really damn paiseh. Fortunately, I only scraped my knees and thigh. Plus some scratches here and there. My butt very pain also lol. Ji dan la! After the fall I was kinda traumatised. Everytime I heard laughters I will think they are laughing at me and I dreaded taking back the same lorry with the same bunch of people. But luckily, the uncle drove my station ppl back first and I didn't meet the rest after that. Ya, I know you people are laughing while reading this. Go ahead and laugh. Anyway I've already got no more face and image. HAHAHAHAHA!

Woooo~ After dragging for 2 mths, I finally plucked up my courage and went for dental appointment! Hahaha. Eve kept complaining that she's sick of my black braces la. But I don't like my current colour cos it doesn't look outstanding enough lol. And now Rege is already asking me to change this yellow one cos she doesn't like it -__- Too bad, they're gonna face this not-so-nice braces for the next 3 mths cos my next appointment is on end October, which is also my Doom's Day :( Ahh, whatever! I'm not going to worry about it until Oct. Anyway, I really hope I can get the attachment at the Science Centre cos I'll get to play with kids! :D You know I love children and they are so much easier to handle than adults! But at the same time, I'm worried that it'll clash with SWS Youth concert. If it really does, then I'll not only be damn disappointed, but also be !@#$%^&*#@ by the committee. I don't wanna make a choice between both of them so I shall be greedy this time and pray that I can go for both! Muahahaha.

I REALLY CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE AND I NEED TO RANT ALL MY ANGER HERE! ARGH. I feel so darn stressed now and it's !#$%&*%$#@ annoying. It's a lie when people tell you poly life is very relaxing, RELAX YOUR HEAD! I don't even feel stressed during O levels but ever since I entered poly, tutorials' been driving me crazy. No wonder my hair falls alot recently. If one day I become bald, I'm gonna sue SP man. I've really got no mood to do my work and yet they're piling higher and higher every week. nabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabehnabeh! Fyi, I'm a slacker okay! I hate these everyday-reached-home-on-laptop-do-tutorials kinda days. I've really tried my best. I hate making choices between 2 things that are equally important to me. As you know, I'm very indecisive and is extremely bad at making decisions. So I don't know what to do now cos I don't wanna make the wrong choice again and regret in future. You know you know! I had this funny, yet weird dream ytd! I was taking picture with Xiao Zhu and he leaned on my shoulder! [We were sitting down] And when we were on the bus, he leaned again! It was so surreal I can even feel his hair brushing my face. Cool shit right? WAHAHAHAHAHA! What a bliss (: The first time I even dreamt that he held my hand and we went to eat dao huey in SP haha! This dream totally brightens up my day man. Damn, if only it's real -__- Okay, that's not the end yet. [This is another dream, but happens on the same day] I gave birth to a baby girl! Erm, not exactly gave birth la, a baby just pop out of nowhere but I know she's mine. And guess what I fed her with? HOTDOGS AND BEEF! HAHAHAHAHAHA! So ridiculous right? A newborn baby can't even chew, needless to say eat hotdogs and BEEF?! -_- Anyway, she was damn adorable [like me! :D] I fell in love with her in an instant, though she look like any other babies. I mean, babies all look the same what. But I was a very forgetful mother in that dream; keep forgetting to feed her until my Ah Ma reminds me to haha! And 'POP!', she has grown into a four or five-year-old girl. We had a family picnic in a really nice garden and I was playing with her while my husband was sitting aside watching. It's exactly like those kind of happy family you see in most TV dramas. However, I'm not going to disclose who's my mystery husband. Sorry to disappoint you guys wahahaha!

Okay, then 'POP!' again, I got another daughter around the age of 7 and we were having some sort of birthday or housewarming party. When I was about to grab some food to eat, I woke up -__- So dulan can? Just give me a few more seconds I can stuff those food into my mouth liao! And you know why? Cos my dad woke me up to ask if I want any food -__- But dreams are always opposite to what will happen in real life. So all my beautiful dreams are never gonna come true. How sad :(

I'm supposed to be doing my CCS tutorial right now. It's due tomorrow and I'm still stuck at Q2. There are 10 questions in total fyi. It's so much worse than doing social studies homework back in sec sch lor! It is also the first time in my 1yr plus of poly life that I have a 10 questions individual tutorial -__- So I'm giving up now, not gonna do it until I have the 'hweeling' back hahaha! No point forcing myself when I've lost concentration. 勉强是没有幸福的! :)

Went to one of the pubs in Boat Quay on Friday night. I don't know if I'm allergic to alchohol or what, but after drinking half a glass of Singapore Sling and a sip of everyone else's drink, my body was damn itchy and red![Except my limps, face and neck] And I must say, I still don't like alcoholic drinks. They are just NOT sweet enough! Yaya, I've got a sweet-tooth so anything that's abit sweet but not very sweet are out of my list. Mind cafe was fun! Totally wake us up hahaha! The 1hr spent in there was equivalent to one whole night of nightwalk. Simply said, the whole cafe was filled with our laughter and screams, which cause us to lose our voice after that lol. But it was fun, fun, FUN! :DDDDD Slacked at Esplanade again; love the night breeze. People started to fall asleep, while Janet and I became more hyper. Late night out with them are total awesome-ness! :D OMG, KEYTH'S SO CUUUUTE! WHY?! Why do adorable kids drive me crazier than hot hunks do? No, I'm not a paedophile. But I love children! Pardon my randomness, my brain's not functioning well now.

The Incredible Hulk and Kungfu Panda are awesome-ness! I'd rate them 9/10 and 8/10 respectively. I kept making many funny noises while watching Hulk bcos I was toooooo excited!(esp.when the 2 hulks were fighting) and JJ was kinda complaining that I made too much noise lol. But seriously, my heart was still thumping very fast even after the movie. And damn! He should have killed the bad hulk lor! Make me gan chiong for nothing -_- Oh rmb at the ending, that man from Iron Man appeared? I think the next movie that's coming out will most probably be Iron Hulk hahahaha! Andand, I think it's damn cute when they said Master Wu Gui in Kungfu Panda, didn't expect them to use mandarin.

Helped Zw decorate her bf's birthday cake on Friday and it turned out pretty nice, thanks to our creativity haha. Her bf must be so touched (:

Went to the closing of Singapore Arts Festival @ Bedok on Sunday with Kiathua, Chuanen, Shumin and Skye. It wasn't very interesting cos the storyline was kinda difficult to understand (until the end) and the fireworks was not impressive at all, in another word, it suck and my butt was very numbed after sitting on that uneven soil for 1hr. But the 'Bottle Robot/Monster' was pretty cool with the huge flame effect.

School has started and I'm still in a holiday mood. Still thinking about shopping everyday hahaha! And yeah! I'll be getting my Singtel and Haagen Dazs pay tmr! Gonna indulge in retail therapy after that :D Good news! I did pretty well for the term test! I was even one of the few top scorers for 2 modules k! wahahaha! At least my hard work did pay off. So I'm not dumb afterall :D Alright, was dying of boredom during one of those rotting days at home and so, I practised what I'm most good at: Self Entertainment. Went to explore the new(or was it there long ago?) editing application in photobucket and found out that you can actually take distorted pictures through the webcam, like those in Macbook. It was really funny and I couldn't stop laughing while playing with it. I was taking before I went to sleep so pardon my messy hair.

Singtel roadshow was fun yet tiring. Imagine having to stand for at least 8hrs everyday, and the only time you get to sit was during lunch/dinner time, which was only freaking 30mins!! Luckily the people there were really really nice, or I'll never be able to survive that 4days haha. Got to know many SP & NP student too! :D I've learned a lot during this period, especially handphone stuff, I used to know nothing about how they calculate the price of the phones etc. But now I know and I feel smarter now! :D Explained so much to the customers until I got a sore throat man. Now if you ask me the price of Nokia N81 I can tell you immediately it's $148 for iOnePlus/Classic Plan and $0 for iTwoPlus wahahaha! And if your phone is eligible for 12months upgrade you have to pay an additional $100. For existing Singtel users you can dial *1626 to check if you're eligible for upgrade or not. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Omg I do sound like a professional, right? Muahaha! Ohoh, and there's this buffet thingy at the 1st level of Suntec Convention that sells huge cotton candy. So rege and I went to buy on the last day and we kept asking the manager to make it bigger. Tadah! The final product was almost 2times bigger than our heads! Hahaha! I bet the others were green with envy cos ours was the biggest amongst them. When we walked past a guy he even stared at our cotton candy and shouted "WTF?!" lor. But in the end we had to force ourselves to finish it so as not to waste the manager's effort -_-

Went to work again today; selling Haagen Dazs ice cream at the Indoor Stadium. Get to watch abit of the Osmonds concert but was chased out by this &^%$#!@#$%#! man, whom I think is the event organiser or the venue in-charge. He pointed his damn finger at us and scolded us like a small kid, instead of telling us nicely to go out and come in only during the interval. Seriously when he pointed his finger I felt like biting it off. Wtf la I see his cb face really feel like slapping lor -_- Oops, my inner devil showing liao la! Image ruined D: But really la, if you guys were there I bet you all will feel the same. Even the most gracious Regina also kept scolding him kpkb lol. Okay enough of that bastard. Anyway, we hit the target today! Which means our pay will be $8/hr instead of $5/hr! WHEEEEEE~ I feel so much richer now! :D Singtel's pay plus squash racket money plus haagen dazs' pay, I think I can afford to be taitai for a few days hahaha! This is the reason why I love working so much now, it's fun and I can earn lotsa money! and it can stop me from being emo for awhile(: I saw President S.R Nathan at the concert too! He was only 5metres away from me lor! But nvm lar, also not Xiao Zhu hahaha!

Sakae @ Wheelock Place with Bff, JJ, Gz and Timoo! On the way there, Zw and I were damn funny in the train la. Now I know why they say when you're sad, your best friend will cry with you (: Reached Sakae only to realise that the buffet starts at 3pm, not 11am as I mixed up with the buffet timing of Sakura haha. So Zw, Gz, Timoo and I went to Paragon's Starbuck first. Thanks Gz for the treat! :D And Timoo for all the jokes that really made me laugh like crap. I spent 20bucks on Sakae but ate less than 10bucks worth of food cos really no appetitie. Which is good la, I can jian fei! haha. And being such a nice friend, I sponsored Zw 10bucks! hahaha
After that filling meal, I suggested walking to Peninsular Plaza from Wheelock. The guys are really lousy la kept on complaing that it's far, Zw & I didn't even grumble lor. Finally got my white skinny changed! The grey colour looks kinda weird though -_- Sat down at Funan's Jollibean for awhile then headed home.

Gonna work at Singtel Roadshow @ Suntec Convention for the next 4 days. Thanks Yihao for helping me get this job :D and it totally came at the right time. Sleepless nights are killing me! Hopefully the tiredness from the work can end this. As you can see from the pictures my eyes really cmi, can act in Kungfu Panda liao lol.

Ohoh, I almost forgot to announce a good news! I can sleep with lights off now, wheee~ Okay for those who don't know, I've been slping with lights on ever since my Popo left us. I'm still very afraid of the dark, but now it's my emo period so I'd just concentrate on being emo and not let my imagination runs wild. So I guess when my emo period's over, I'm gonna on the lights again hahaha! Shopping with Joanne, Eileen and Joeven after band on Sunday. Good thing about the alteration of band practices to 10am is that we can go out after that, bad thing is, of cos, having to wake up super early. Went to town then Vivo, and we only bought like one top each. It's like when you got money you don't see anything you like, but when you're broke, there's so many things you wanna buy. We were too lazy to walk already so Eileen suggested going to Starbucks, but changed to Coffee Bean instead for god-knows-what reason. It was fun going out with them, but something bad just had to happen to ruin my mood. Oh ya, didn't know Joeven could do Para Para and he was damn pro lor. Got 1st somemore! There'll be a short clip of him playing below haha. Specially for JJ =x

ECP outing with Ce, Kh, Eve, Rege, Skye, Cedric and Rabbit ytd. All of us were late for like 3hrs, except Ce and Kh. Sorry to make both of you wait so long haha =x

It was fun nonetheless. Cycled first cos Cedric and Rabbit were not there yet and we need them to guide the blading noobs hahaha! Double-ride with Kh cos she can't really cycle and I think she's putting her life at risk as I've not cycled for ages, so I kinda forgot how to start riding. Tried like 4 times before we can successfully cycle smoothly lol. Went skating after that. I thought I can blade w/o falling today, but sadly I was the first to fall even before stepping onto the track -__- And was abit geh kiang so I tried to skate super fast and I fell super badly too. Scraped my knee, shoulder, sprained my neck alittle, and got a baluku on my head haha! Cos I fell sideway and landed on butt, then my head. Ya so you can guess how great the impact was that I could sprain my neck, which I only realise when I reached home. Now I have difficulty turning my head so if anybody wanna talk to me, please speak from the front (: But still! I enjoyed my friends accompaniment! If not I'll emo the whole day at home, which I hated seriously. If only I stay near ECP, then I'll go skating every ~~day~~ week! Wahahaha. No picture taken ytd, cos there were basically no one who brought camera or were too lazy to take. So I guess I'll just post the photos of the previous ECP outing with them, which was I think 1 month plus ago haha.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, TERM TEST ARE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THE LONG-AWAITED HOLIDAY IS FINALLY HERE!! WOOOOHOOOOO~ :DDDDDDDDDDD
I need someone to pinch/slap me to wake me up cos it still feels like a dream (that the mst is over). I bet many ppl are more than willing to do that haha! But I'm really too overwhelmed by the fact that I actually survived this week w/o much slacking (except for Event Creation) hahahahahahahaha!. However, we still have one last IT paper on monday. But who cares~ it's an open book test anyway, lol.

I just couldn't stop smilng after today's paper :) We were tormented with tons of information to memorise for the past 5days and the first time ever in my whole life studying in library everyday! And guess what? I kinda miss school library now, but definitely not the mugging. Omg I feel sooooooo excited! :D (sounds like Evelyn) haha

To those who will be having their term test after the holiday, don't be envious cos we can enjoy our holiday without having to worry about test :) wahahahaha! I'm so haaaapppy!

Being emo is so out of my list but I have been feeling gloomy ever since school started. Might be the weather, the coming term test or something else, I have no idea what's troubling me either. But at least I don't really show it cos I know it's going to affect the happy people ard me. Anyway, it's also hard to be emo in sch when I have awesome classmates with me :D But sometimes I just don't feel like talking to anybody or hardly pay attention to what people are saying, and that's a great deal cos I've always been a happy monkey. Even the most trivial thing can trigger my emo gland? Okay I can't rmb what's that word to use. Taahaa, whatever! Sigh. All in all, I'm at my worst now so for goodness sake, please don't irritate me. You wouldn't want me to blurt out the f word and show my long & beautiful middle finger right on your face. Fyi, I'm trying very hard to be more demure and civilised now so don't make me lose it all okay!

Came across this interesting story and decided to share it with you :)

A knight was riding a horse in the dark and he fell off a cliff but he managed to hold on to a branch. Fearing for his life he held on to the branch. Throughout the night he was so scared to let go because he know that if he did, he is going to fall to his death. In the end his body couldn't take it anymore and he let go, only to find out that the branch he held on to for his dear life was not too far off from the ground.

So morale of the story is that things may seem hard at times but sometimes there is no point being so persistant in life when we cannot hold on to it any longer. For certain situation, letting go may be a better choice.

I've been sick for the past 5days, must be due to the sucky weather. But honestly, this is the first time I can still jump around when I'm not feeling well, haha. Guess my immune system is getting stronger! MUAHAHA! Anyway people, rmb to drink plenty of water so you can pee out all the unwanted heat in your body hahahahaha!

School sucks BIG time! Like totally~ I don't know why but it seems like the 1st sem of my poly school year are screwed up. Year 1 I was like that, and now history is repeating itself again. Recently can't sleep well at night either; many things are constantly running through my mind. Argh, I feel so miserable now, sob sob :( lol. Okay besides that, after-school time used to be fun & relaxing cos we get to slack in the 'once peaceful clubhse'. YEEESSS, I used to go to the clubhse EVERYDAY after school, but not anymore! :( I no longer feel a sense of belonging there and everything is like so different now. Fyi, I'm not the only one who feels that way. Like SOOOOOO MMMAAAANNNNNNNNNNNYYYY of us. Right, whatever. Life still goes on. We still have to eat and sleep. And please don't make wild guesses like I don't welcome the year ones or what. It's good to see them being so active in club and stuff, coz that was what our batch didn't managed to achieve as many of them disappeared after FOC -_- Anyway, the real reason will only be known to US. So meanwhile I'll still visit the clubhse since two of my awesome classmates (Ama & Rege) are in the main comm, but not as frequent. :)
